We are starting our school year off with our students learning from home. I would love to give my students the real classroom feel for each of my students by creating keep at home supply bags to make sure that they have all of the materials they need to work at home successfully. The materials I have chosen are items my students need to be able to engage with me as their teacher and in the lessons they are learning. Our county has been very generous to help with basic materials to start the students off at home. The materials in these kits will be added to the basics backpack to help create a more hands on and PreK classroom feel even while at home. Using different manipulatives such as pipe cleaners, pom-poms, and popsicle sticks are exciting and helpful to PreK children. With the additions to the basics backpack in the kits this project will complete the students will be able to spend time learning through play and be engaged in the lessons and enjoy all of the learning going on.
