First time teaching first grade and first time starting a school year with distant learning...This will be a challenge! However, by adding an iPad to my technology, I will be able to have my students on one device while streaming activities and lessons to them on the other device. This will help me keep track of my students during the lessons rather than switching back and forth between tabs. Having an iPad will also allow me to use it as a virtual whiteboard for my students where they can see exactly what I am writing and how I am writing it. This is huge for learning letters and writing skills! The difference will be amazing!
