Flexible seating allows students to make choices about their learning that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Most of the time they are only able to choose the floor. With these flexible seating options, my students can choose something different. Students who are able to make choices about their learning are often more excited to learn. My students would love the opportunity to make that choice and be the leader in their education. Allowing them to choose where they can learn will help broaden their spectrum of learning.
