This year my students will be participating in a new adventure and experiencing a blending learning environment. During these new and uncertain times, I strive to give my students consistency in the classroom. When the classroom becomes a nontraditional setting such as with blending learning, I want my students to be able to have the same materials online that they would have in the classroom. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase online materials that will support student education outside of the classroom and keep their learning consistent. I plan to purchase materials and lessons that will support my students in developing necessary science skills such as how to read, interpret, and apply scientific data in real world scenarios. Specific examples of items that I plan to use the gift card for include charts and graphs. In addition, my goal is to purchase supplemental materials for online labs that my students will be participating in this year.
