COVID-19 showed us we could learn from home if necessary, but it also showed that hands-on, in-person learning is the gold standard. Students are recovering from the last 2 years of pandemic learning. We need to find any way we can to reach them and bring learning back up to pre-pandemic levels. Our student's learning has suffered during the pandemic. They need any help they can get to regain those losses. Hands-on activities keep them engaged and interested. The cell game will enable them to interact with peers while gaining and testing their knowledge of cells. The slides will enable them to see the cells they are studying. The experiment kit is another example of allowing them to do things hands on, experiencing the phenomena themselves instead of just hearing about it.
