GES is located in a tight-knit community compromised of a student body that is about 76% economically disadvantaged. These children are in great need of technology resources and materials, where they can use it to explore topics and places they wouldn't be able to otherwise. The materials received will benefit over 300 students in all subject areas and will help make learning more engaging and fun for teacher and student alike. These materials will also benefit the teachers and families because assessing students using technology means less grading by hand and timely feedback for students and parents. When teachers are less stressed and overwhelmed, students benefit in many ways.

About my class
