My classroom is in need of an all purpose mobile easel. This project will create a responsive and engaging learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all students during whole-group and small-group instruction. My goal is to use this easel to support students as they think critically and creatively; and communicate and collaborate effectively. With this new mobile easel, students can actively participate in morning meeting activities, shared readings of big books, math talks, and interactive writing anywhere in the classroom. This easel will allow interactive participation by students during their reading, writing and math centers; and will provide an avenue for me to scaffold rich experiences that encourage emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. This mobile easel also allows me to hang anchor charts that we have created together, and even has a shelf to store classroom materials and supplies. With this easel, my students will be able to engage in interactive learning throughout the day. Please help add an easel to my second grade students' interactive learning space.
