Giving each student at our Middle School a clipboard this year will enable us to maintain social distancing while we embed rigorous, literacy-based education with experiential science opportunities outside. Think of these clipboards as a "mobile desk" for each student as they meet with instructors and peers around campus to investigate phenomena, gather evidence, and write responses. Clipboards will also provide students the opportunity to participate in other coursework throughout the day as they take notes, write essays, and engage in social-emotional learning exercises while they learn outside.

About my class
