Students love to explore and find things on their own. Having these dissection microscopes will allow students to unlock an up close view of plants and animals that they never seen before! The equipment can be used in almost all of my classes I teach and can inspire students to dig deeper about questions they have for living organisms and why things possess such unique structures! Helping students unlock their ability for eye opening detail will jump start their learning! One example is looking at the different between tissues of different types of plants and discussing how that anatomy of plants impacts their ability to succeed in different environments. When we look at animal tissue under a dissection microscope we can see the details and layers of skin that are unseeable with the human eye or a normal microscope. My 7th and 8th grade exploratory classes can see how different soil particles arrange to form our soil and all the living organisms that exist in every handful of soil! The learning opportunities are endless!
