In Transitional Kindergarten, my students learn through play. I want to put materials in their hands to create a fun learning environment at home. My students use play doh to strengthen their fine motor skills, create things, and to make letters and numbers. My Transitional Kindergarten students need basic supplies like crayons, scissors and glue to complete their work and be creative. My students also need sensory balls to squeeze, when they need emotional support. Learning to play and playing to learn is what my students need in these unprecedented times.
