As a first-year teacher I have very limited classroom supplies and materials. This rug will allow us to have morning meetings, read alouds, whole and small group instruction, all while building relationships and strengthening our classroom community. Building a sense of community helps students feel valued and connected with the teacher and other students in class. Taking the time to create this type of environment can help students feel included, can help them learn important social skills, and can teach them about responsibility. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
