This year looks different for teachers and students more than any other return to school year in the past. It is important that students can continue to collaborate with one another in the classroom safely. Students learn from each other by working together, supporting one another, sharing ideas. I am a strong believer that students collaborating in a classroom with each other is so important for their success not only academically, but socially. My classroom is set up with tables instead of desk to encourage this type of collaboration, however with the current situation we are facing it is also important to keep them safe while maintaining social distancing (per CDC guidelines) while in the classroom. These plexiglass shields will allow students to continue to work together at tables while doing it safely. Thank you for contributing to the safety of my students!
