Students will receive materials to experience watercolor techniques and oil pastel techniques following the instructions I will provide online. From home I will create short videos to instruct students in using these materials in order to experience art using media that go beyond simple crayons and markers, then I would post the videos on the learning platform so students could follow my guidelines in experiencing the use of various techniques of watercolors and oil pastels. Art is a way to use expression, emotions, and promote critical thinking skills. Students will benefit from using these additional materials to help them relieve tension and stress, practice motor skills, use imagination, and critical thinking, while learning the value of visual arts.
