We use iPad's currently in my small group to enhance our lessons. We write sentences daily during our small group instruction. I like to use the iPad once a week as part of the writing experience. Students will take an App called Word Wizard to drag letters to make a sentence on the screen that matches the sentence that I tell them based on the phonics skills we are working on. The students really enjoy this activity and way to write sentence. We also play a game called Kahoot on the iPad's and students really enjoy this game as it is a game that they can compete against each other for points based off of questions that I create. Currently our iPad's we have no longer receive updates and often times the Apps do not work well on them or will be very slow. Having updated iPad's will definitely enhance the experience that the students have during their intervention time.
