Online drama is a complicated and messy process, especially using video meeting software and trying to perform or show videos while monitoring student needs. Having a second screen would greatly increase my ability to monitor my classroom while showing clips and running interactive activities. It will also allow me to watch student performances while comparing with a rubric or other such materials. Students will benefit from a smoother transition between activities, rather than a clumsy switch back and forth between materials. My workload would also be easier to manage and I would have more time to focus on teaching.
