Flexible seating has become an important aspect of how students choose to learn daily. By having the opportunity to decide how they will move while learning, it gives them the flexibility to choose a seat that helps them learn the best. By giving students the options, they will have a chance to explore what different seating arrangements work best and where they focus on their learning the best. My largest item, the convertible bench, is great for students to use as a table during lessons but can also be used as a bench when turned around as a back row during read alouds as well as large group instruction. The knee pads also give children the chance to sit on the floor at a low sitting table if chairs aren't comfortable for them. I wan't my students to feel comfortable when they learn and especially when they walk in the classroom.
