Students with special needs require many materials which are typically shared. During this pandemic our students are not going to share materials but instead need individual materials. The first part of these materials are instructional based. This includes bins to store things like workbooks, pencils, markers, scissors, etc. Our students often struggle with sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills. These items are typically shared among students but our school year is going to look different this year. Items like fidgets, letter tracing, manipulative, putty, and other fidgets are imperative to our students education. All of these materials help students engage in the classroom and help them to learn. As an adapted team we want to help keep not only our students safe but our teachers and TA's as well. After reviewing many recommendations we have included things like face shields, and cleaning supplies. As teachers we want to be there for our students every day, please help keep us safe as well so we can love and teach out students each day.
