These books will help me bring diverse and engaging literature into my classroom. These books will also help to facilitate discussion around different races and ethnicities! While my students participate in online learning it is essential they feel a connection to the content, which is exactly what these books will provide. I teach in an area where my students are primarily minorities and I understand the importance of seeing themselves in literature plays. Not only will it allow connections to their own culture but it will also open the door to explore other cultures!
