In my typical kindergarten classroom, students sit at tables of 4 so they can cooperatively work with peers. Unfortunately this year will need to be drastically different. With the new CDC guidelines, we need to creatively prepare for in-person learning while social distancing. These floor trays and cushions will help students work comfortably around our classroom. Because they take up less space and are easily movable, I can maintain ample distance between students while working at desks. These items stack neatly and compactly and the surface can be sanitized daily. These small floor desks and seating cushions will allow me to put 10 students at regular desks (group A) and 10 students around the room in their portable learning space (group B). Please help me provide a safe and comfortable working space for my upcoming kindergarten students.
