Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for my students is my priority. The students in my classroom would benefit emotionally, physically, and academically with access to these numerous resources. The classroom curriculum can be enriched with visuals and manipulatives, such as a daily schedule board so they are aware of the routine, a calendar for us to review daily during morning meetings, and math manipulatives to help with comprehension of math concepts. Other items requested, such as the puzzles, and the TANGLE BrainTools Imagine, may assist with their textile stimulation. The Soft Floor Rocker is a cushioned chair for the students that conforms to their body enhancing relaxation and calmness. The rhythmic motion promotes calmness and focus. Students in the classroom may also have sensory impairments. Access to sensory resources encourages the students’ development of motor skills, problem-solving, and assists with building nerve connections to the brain. These supplies will help my students reach their goal of excellence!
