My students are students who had difficulty fitting in the general education classroom. They thrive in our accepting and nurturing therapeutic environment. They are creative and have a desire to learn and grow. I teach all core classes in our classroom. My students will love having their own crucial school supplies! The string bag will be able to hold and transport all items. The pencil box will hold all of the materials and keep them organized. The colored pencils and markers allow for individual creativity, with a quality sharpener and eraser to last. Highlighters help focus in on key facts. The pandemic hit us hard in the Northeast. Many of my students did not have access to basic school materials at home. I selected items that the students can use at school, without the risk of cross contaminating, but easily be transported to home in the event of another closure. Here's to hoping this will keep my students safe and lessen the stress on their families!
