This will be my first year teaching these students. Upon going through the materials in my soon to be classroom I noticed that the only instruments they had were a bunch of hand drums and some xylophones. This limited number of instruments does not make for a very exciting music experience. These instruments will get students excited about music class and will give them an authentic, real-world musical experience. These instruments will also allow students to socially distance while learning and are easy to clean. It is my belief that students should be learning music in a way that connects to how they see and hear real-world musicians playing. I would love to give my new students this experience!
