My students come from many different backgrounds, diverse, have different living situations, are struggling with many emotions do to a very extended shelter in place time . These books will touch everyone and someone specifically in my Kindergarten class as I have the opportunity to read to them either remotely or in person. I would love to be able to address the important topics of Diversity, Feelings and Emotions and Growth Mindset through Children,s literature. Children are the most accepting, kind hearted, and loving little humans; what a perfect time for them to hear these stories that will only reinforce the positive.

About my class
