The materials I'd like for my classroom are to help my students focus on their schoolwork. I also included some materials that will help improve their social skills and their understanding of what to do if they're in a certain situation. As a resource teacher, my students have many different needs and simple accommodations can help them be successful students. My students deserve to learn just like their peers. I want my students to be just as successful as all the others. They have faced challenges at such a young age that I couldn't possibly imagine going through as an adult. I'd like to provide them a space in my room where they are comfortable, welcome, and able to express themselves while also providing them an education.
