I have used Scholastic StoryWorks for the past several years with amazing results. All of my students have found the content to be enriching and fascinating. Each issue introduces students to a variety of topics and ideas written in such a way that informs while sparking curiosity to learn more. Each nonfiction article, story, poem, and infographic are accompanied by a whole host of lesson plans and activities. Everything is tied back to the standards. StoryWorks even provides differentiation for English language learners, students who may need support, as well as gifted learners.
