This project aims to provide reading materials meant to further develop cultural competency in our youngest student population. Materials will be paired with enhanced dialogic reading prompts and virtual materials to promote student comprehension. Materials will be available for students in their classroom as well as home. The creators of this project are speech-language specialists who plan to the facilitate dialogue and comprehension activities associated with the materials listed for this project in hopes of generalizing the lessons across grade-levels. Further, grade-level book companion materials are planned for the future of the project.

About my class
