This school year will look very different for us. Life as we knew it has turned upside down. Due to the circumstances, our students will be learning via technology through a hybrid learning model. My students are very eager to learn through technology, however, not all of my students have access to the technology their peers have. This project will allow me to provide access to technology for my students, along with providing content that is accessible through technology. My students have used programs such as Google Classroom, EdPuzzle, Screencastify, and so forth. This access to technology will allow me to provide interactive lessons through these programs so students do not miss out on engaged learning time. The Chromebooks will be rented out to students who are in need of access to a Chromebook during Non-Traditional Instruction. The printer will allow my students to print activities and create projects within the classroom. There are several activities, such as interactive notebooks, I hope to implement within the classroom this year. Having a printer will allow us to explore interactive opportunities, along with giving students access to print activities they might not be able to print at home. Given some students do not have access to Chromebooks, they may not have access to a printer which will be beneficial for some of our activities. The Teachers Pay Teachers credit will allow me to buy interactive content for my students. There are several items I plan on buying for our curriculum, including interactive notebooks, creative activities, and virtual lab experiences. With all of these resources, I hope to provide a thorough and engaging learning opportunity, even though our school year may look different than a traditional year. Thank you for supporting our classroom, and the future of our students!
