The stools from my list will be used at my small group tables. Many studies have shown that flexible seating increases students’ learning. The surf portable lap desks will be used around my classroom in order for students to be socially distanced per COVID-19 regulations. These desks also offer more flexible seating options which will increase students’ learning. Many students require adaptations to their seating in order for adequate learning to take place. These flexible seating options help these students to perform at a higher level. Flexible seating meets the child where they are at and also fosters a positive classroom community.
