The children in the classroom need to achieve the balance of learning through physical activities as well as learning moments. In the process of reopening the center due to the covid 19 children are limited to outdoor time. When children are not enjoying the outdoors they need equipment that is able to be used inside the classroom. Children in the classroom will benefit from the active learning kit. The children will be able to engage in gross motor play by utilizing the balls included as well as learning how to move around or skip between the cones included. They will also be able to explore active words such as balance and throw while using the bean bags in the kit. The use of sharing will be incorporated as well amongst the children as they take turns. The children will be able to manipulate their bodies in different movements as they use the hula hoops .
