This year, I want to try flexible seating. I would love to give my students the opportunity to choose how they want to learn, and how to make independent choices. Having a variety of seating options will help me maximize my students learning, and it will get them excited about school. My vision is to have different seating options. At one of our workshops we were told that something as small as seating at different levels helps certain students to focus better. I will have some students seating on stools, chairs, and on the floor. Another advantage of flexible seating is making independent choices, which is something that they will need to do as adults.
