As I teach from home, I will be able to read these books aloud to ALL of my students, Kindergarten through Second Grade. These books are diverse, relatable, and have incredible illustrations. My hope is that these books with engage all of my students and encourage the love of reading. For my younger students, these books will be used to start discussions of imagery, diversity, and ideas to compare/contrast. As my students get older, they will be used for deeper conversations and writing opportunities. Overall, I want my struggling readers to be able to connect and interact with literature!
