Nothing will stop my students from learning the many skills they need to succeed. iPads can help students with different learning needs access the curriculum. They can also be used as reinforcers when students complete activities. Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder will benefit from an iPad when learning academic, social, and self-help skills. The iPads will be used to help students progress in all they are learning. We strive to provide students with disabilities accessible tools geared towards their individualized learning goals. Additionally, iPads can be used to increase functional communication when requesting the iPad and while using the different apps. Students practice sharing and collaborating with their peers while using the iPad. It is important to provide multiple forms of support systems for students can assist with increased levels of engagement and interest in new skills. Thank you!
