These books will help me to become more culturally responsive by teaching my students to be filled with compassion and to have a caring nature. I want my students to know the importance of being yourself, respecting others, and doing the right thing. Scholastic Books are always a great source for literacy. The stools and sit spots will allow my students to practice safe distancing during read-aloud time. These inspiring stories emphasize standing up for the right thing no matter how difficult. I want to teach my students to be better humans and to be active participants in the world.
