In my classroom we work on multiplication and division daily. It is a very difficult skill for students to understand. Having the graph array chart on the teacher board and multiplication arrays for the students during multiplication and division lessons is a wonderful visual for students. They will be able to work at their desk to manipulate the counters into the array chart to represent various multiplication and division problems. Children in 3rd grade need a lot of hands on during multiplication and division lessons. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement in mathematics. Having the array charts for each student will allow access of the curriculum for all students. Students will feel more confident during multiplication and division lessons.
