Success in school is directly related to how well a child can read. Some children think that they don't like to read, but I believe it is only because they have not found the right book. Because our district is becoming more diverse, I want to put books into all of my student's hands where they can recognize themselves in the lives of the characters. I want to use these books to grow my classroom library and to help make my students excited about reading and to help them to find a book that they can't put down!

About my class
