Small group learning in center rotations is where students get to practice their skills and have some one-on-one time with the teacher to deepen their knowledge. Last year with COVID, center rotations and small group learning was not the same. I want to get my kids back in the rhythm of doing this in a way that is safe. Your donation will provide the needed resources for my students to engage in quality small group instruction! I plan to use the carts to organize activities for students to use to practice our skills for the week. I also plan to use them to store materials for students to easily access without my help! This will free me up to provide small group instruction to help students develop a greater understanding. I plan to use the bean bag chairs to give students a cozy place to work during our small group time. Just getting kids out of their desks to work gives them motivation to learn! The finger flashlights and buzzers will be a great addition to help make learning fun for my students at their stations. They will be able to use the materials in learning games! The magnetic curtain rods will hold anchor charts for students to reference to make their independent practice more successful! This project will make a difference in my students learning by giving them the resources to work collaboratively in small groups to practice weekly skills. This will help them to build a greater understanding of the curriculum in a way that is fun!! When students are engaged, they are able to take control of their own learning!
