Due to COVID-19, the upcoming school year is going to be challenging to say the least. One of the ways that the incoming Kindergarteners' school experience will change is that they will have to have to have their own supplies. No community supplies or items will be allowed. This means that the traditional literacy and math center bins cannot be used because the students share/take turns with these centers each day. That means lots of little hands on the same activities... yikes! I am determined to give my students the best school experience that they can have this year - this includes providing them with the opportunity to still do the fun literacy and math centers, just in a new way. These containers will allow each student to have 2 individual center bins to use that only they (and myself) will touch. One bin will be full of different literacy center options for them to choose from. The other will be full of different math center options for them to choose from. They will use these each day during center times, but will only use their own bin to prevent the spread of germs. (Don't worry...center activities will be thoroughly cleaned and left out to dry before going into any other student's bin)
