In our classroom, we greatly treasure our books! Diving into a good story always helps my students engage in discussion and further their critical thinking skills of their own opinions and perspectives of others. My students have diverse learning needs and a range of different reading levels, therefore we read everything from appropriate picture books to chapter books. I am a new teacher who would love to fill our class library this next year, whether we be on campus or via distance learning. Even over Zoom, I know these books will help give my students a better perspective on our diverse world.
