Never did I imagine that my first year of teaching would be a virtual experience. As a new teacher, I want to be able to provide my students with the best learning experience possible. I have been lucky enough to stay at the school I interned at and have gained experience in distance learning and have seen students succeed. I will be taking the Kindergarten class I interned with into first grade! I want to continue to support my students to the best of my ability during these unprecedented times. I am going to do my best to make sure that my students get the best out of their virtual learning. This year I will be balancing graduate school and my first classroom ever! A new laptop will enable me to continue with my students' distance learning with fewer bumps in the road! I will utilize the laptop to teach virtual lessons, to record read-alouds, communicate with parents, monitor student progress, and ensure that my students are still receiving an education despite the circumstances we are in.
