In this day and age, babies are born with a device in their hands. They learn early on how to use technology. I feel devices, technology, and internet are vital in today's education. While I will be personally challenged with this, I think students will as well. We will learn together, and together, we will learn. Forced to use Google Classroom during the Corona shut down of schools, I fell in love with it. This is one example of how I will use mini laptops in my classroom. I also envision virtual field trips, research, typing skills improved, more knowledge of computer software/apps/functions, online projects, and lots more. Another use will be to help my students who are learning English as a second language, and I have many of those. While I would love a class set of mini laptops, this will definitely get me started.
