The classroom library is by far, the most beloved part of our classroom. It is a place where my students can escape, learn, and grow. It is incredibly important to me that I supply my students with a diverse collection of books. With these books, my students will have the opportunity to learn and read stories about people that are different from them, as well as people that are just like them. Students will have the opportunity to learn about people of various cultures and backgrounds. This will provide a stepping stone to important conversations and an appreciation for diversity. In addition to these books, I have added a set of supply bins that each of my students will receive. Due to Covid-19, shared supplies within the classroom are not an option this year. These supply bins will give each student a place to keep all of their individual supplies (pencils, glue, scissors, etc.) that would typically be shared among the class, all in one place.
