The materials listed in my project will help my Kindergartners learn the foundations in Math and Reading. Students learn best when they are able to manipulate what they are learning. Students will use the magnetic letters and numbers during centers. The project also includes basic school supplies including pencils, white boards, and scissors. I have also included pencil grips which are fundamental to early handwriting skills in Kindergarten. Teaching in a low-income, Title I school does not allow a large budget for classroom materials. With your help I can better teach my kindergartners key skills they will use for the rest of their school career.
