Our whole class read alouds are a place for my students to enjoy listening, reading, and discussing literature with real-world connections. I would love to add to our collection with books that spotlight main characters from various backgrounds and races. This project will help my students give them access to books that they can see themselves in and learn from our diversity. Our diverse classroom will get to have a diverse set of books we can ALL enjoy and discuss in grand conversations that will continue our quest for equality.
