All the books that I am requesting are focused on core values such as teamwork, responsibility, mindfulness, respect, self control, and friendship to name a few. Student have not been in a classroom nor around their peers for a couple months now and still will not be for another few months. It is important to stress and teach core values to them always and especially when they come back from social distancing in the fall. Students love read alouds and I think it's important to use read alouds as opportunities to teach children core values.

About my class
