These books and resources will be used to help teach my students about different perspectives around the world. We will discuss how books can be windows into new perspectives or mirrors that reflect themselves. Each book has new or different perspective my students may not know or get exposed to. The picture books I am requesting are also filled with characters my students can relate to or learn from. By donating to this project, you will be helping me make sure to reach all of my young learners. My goal is to help all students to feel represented in the content and resources I am exposing them to. The books will be used to teach about different cultures, ethnicities, race, diversity and so many other important topics in our world today. I feel it is very important to expose my students to these different learning experiences at a young age. I believe that using picture books to teach these important topics is the most appropriate way to reach my young learners. Every book placed in my classroom library will be treated with love and care. The gift card will be used to purchase supplemental material to go along with the picture books. Please consider donating to our project!
