My classroom library is a place of so much learning and joy for students. This project will help me create an inclusive selection of books that affirms and reflects the wonderful students in my class and will help to create a welcoming learning environment. Books are the foundation for many important conversations about topics such as inclusion. The books that will be purchased with your support are written by authors of the communities they are talking about. The books will be added to the classroom library for student to access and will be used for our many interactive read alouds. I want my students to see themselves represented in their classroom library and have the opportunity to learn about the diverse experiences of many different people.
