Students will each have a desk set to individually learn about magnetism. Exploration and the creation of mazes to have the magnets travel through will be made possible with help. Engaging students in hands-on activities uses all of their brains connections. Students will be taking what they already know and pushing the limits to explore beyond their previous experiences. Most students have put something on the refrigerator with a magnet and it sticks. We will explore the why and the how to discover what magnets can and can’t do.
