These materials will help teach diversity to young students. It will help to promote tolerance and acceptance of different cultures and races. With the current situations in the world it is important now more than ever. These stories will be read and coordinating activities and crafts will be done to help reinforce the message of these stories. It will teach the concepts of acceptance, tolerance, kindness, differences and promote positive interactions among races and cultures. They say racism isn’t born it is taught. Let’s take the opportunity to use that and teach them the other way, to be accepting and tolerant of everyone. No matter the color of their skin.
