Having a mobile easel will make it easier for me to teach from anywhere in the classroom. Students could learn from their desks, the carpet, at my small group table, or anywhere else. This is the first step to a more flexible classroom and creating a better classroom environment! My first graders love small group and center work! This mobile easel will allow me to teach to them while they are moving around the room in centers. They won’t have to be sitting at their desks looking at the board, instead we will have so much more freedom when I am teaching a lesson!
