Colorful paper, markers, pencils, glue, and erasers will truly make a difference in the lives of my students. With distance learning, many of the experiences normally found in the classroom are being adapted each day. For kindergarten especially, these young minds need the tools and materials to support their creativity and imaginations. Through directed drawing, collages, and so much more, my students will get to think beyond the box (or screen in this case). Given the right tools, opportunity, & support, these students' imaginations and possibilities are endless! Responding to stories and retelling them through art, while creating their own pieces of expression, the materials will enable these special learners to see beyond their homes, and tablet screens.
